PEACH'S EXPLORERS

PEACH'S GOLD

BEHIND THE NEWS
A young person's guide to the issues that shape their world.

This popular ABC series takes the issues of the day and translates them into a language young people understand. Kid-centric topics including koalas with drinking problems, how to count a billion dollars, the dangers of junk food, travelling to Antarctica, making drugs from bugs, the power of leeches, how tornadoes form, the science of banana tress, mobile phones and global warming are discussed.

Using the music and popular culture of their generation, the BTN team of junior investigators and presenters put current affairs into context and explore the stories often overlooked by mainstream news.
