Around the World in 80 Treasures (PG)
Historian and TV presenter Dan Cruickshank has been set the monumental journey to travel the globe non-stop in search of the most significant man made treasures on the planet.
Travelling to 44 countries in just five months, he risks life and limb to reach and re-evaluate some of our most remote and revered treasures, from the castles of Japan to the Nazca lines in Peru, from Persepolis in Iran to the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
Along the way, he charts the rise and fall of many of the worlds greatest civilisations to create a unique picture of humankind - celebrating the world as a diverse treasure house of art and ancient artefacts.
