Gascoigne Country 1917-1999 (Digital)
The life and work of renowned visual artist, Rosalie Gascoigne.
When Rosalie Gascoigne turned to art late in life, her approach was direct - straight to the objects in her immediate environment - road signs, drink crates, corrugated iron and kitchen ware all became the 'stuff' of her art.
At the centre of the program is a revealing interview with Gascoigne, recorded not long before her death. Husband Ben, son Martin and revered art historian and author, Daniel Thomas also provide valuable insights into her life. From The Arts Show.
