Buildings
Examines the ways in which buildings are designed for specific purposes. Part of the ABC's For the Juniors series.
Five episodes include: Building a House, Shopping Centre, Hospital, Tall Buildings and Homes on the Move. Each episode identifies the reasons behind a building's design and looks at choice of materials and safety considerations.
Buildings is part of the For the Juniors series for students aged 6-8 years which aims to stimulate children's curiosity and imagination, widen their horizons and encourage them to explore their environment.
